Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Practices in the International Development Sector

About the Lecture

What can international development agencies do to counter what some critics have termed a "crisis of legitimacy"? How can the impact of humanitarian action be determined? Join us on 3 June (Saturday) at 14GMT as Mdm. Oluwatosin Eghire gives an overview of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) practices in the international development sector.

Mdm. Eghire is MEAL Team Leader at Solidarités International in Nigeria. She has led cross-functional teams in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs in humanitarian and international development contexts, and in coordinating with project beneficiaries, government agencies, UN agencies, and civil society organizations in the execution of MEAL systems.
