Ms. Ena Lucia Mariaca Pacheco is a trauma-informed professional specializing in child sexual abuse, exploitation, and trafficking. For over a decade, she has worked with the Government of Canada, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, law enforcement, victims, and survivors on research, policy, human rights advocacy, and global projects focused on supporting victims and survivors. Ms. Pacheco's research was used to support Canada's Bill S-224, An Act to Amend the Criminal Code (Trafficking in Persons) before the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights.
