Dr. Wafaa Samir Naim

Political Sociology

Dr. Wafaa Samir Naim is an Associate Professor of Political Sociology at the National Center for Social Research in Cairo. She has scientific and research experience for more than 15 years. She obtained her PhD in 2012. She is a member of several bodies, including: Social, Human and Population Research Council, Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research; The Examination and Reading Committee of the Egyptian General Book Organization in Egypt; General Secretariat of the International Federation of Historians of Development, Culture and Social Sciences in Denmark.
She has several researches and published scientific reports, including: The social and economic effects of the law on the rental relationship of agricultural land on the Egyptian countryside 2017; Encroachments on the course of the Nile River, Al Wasta Center as a model 2017; drug abuse and addiction in rural Egypt 2017; Illegal Immigration in Egypt: Reality and Mechanisms 2017; Trends in political development in Egypt from 1980 to 2015, 2016; Criminal and social dimensions of child abduction crimes 2022; Social and economic empowerment of women with breadwinners and the poorest, within the framework of the Decent Life Initiative 2023; The role of voluntary initiatives in activating social responsibility frameworks in the wake of the Corona crisis 2023.
