Dr. Faisal Mahbob

Faisal Hassan Mohammed Mahbob is a Yemeni political researcher, currently preparing for a PhD thesis on: “The Impact of Reforming the Electoral System on the Democratic Transformation Process in the Republic of Yemen.” He also obtained a fellowship from the American Institute for Yemeni Studies in 2014. He presented many studies and research papers, and his research focuses on issues related to politics, such as elections, democratic transition, and rights and freedoms. Also, political, social movements, civil society organizations, political empowerment of women and youth, good governance and combating corruption. He also participated in a number of conferences and seminars at the Yemeni and regional levels.
