Dr. Eman Rashwa

Public law, law and economics, international law, political systems, human rights, transitional justice, and project management.

Dr. Eman Rashwan is a Teacher of Public Law and Head of the International Cooperation Unit at Cairo University – Faculty of Law, a Visiting Scholar and Lecturer of Law & Economics at Hamburg University, and an Independent International Legal Consultant. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (English section) and her first Masters` Degree in Public Law and Administrative Sciences from Cairo University. She holds a second LL.M. in Law and Government from American University, Washington College of Law (The USA), and a Ph.D. in Law and Economics from Hamburg University (Germany), Erasmus University Rotterdam (The Netherlands), and Bologna University (Italy). Eman has publications in multiple international outlets including Global Constitutionalism (Cambridge University Press), ICONnect (the International Journal of Constitutional Law’s blog), Clough Center for the Study of Constitutional Democracy at Boston College, Women’s Rights Law Reporter (Rutgers University), Bologna Law Review, The Arab Association of Constitutional Law, Omniscriptum, and International Association of Constitutional Law blog. Her teaching, research, and practice fields of focus include public law, law and economics, international law, political systems, human rights, transitional justice, and project management.
