Dr. Amar Rouabhi

International Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law, and North African Security Studies.

Pr. Dr. Amar Rouabhi is a recognized academic, researcher, and consultant, with a specialization in International Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law, and North African Security Studies. Based in Algiers, Algeria, and Istanbul, Turkey, he is renowned for his groundbreaking research and teaching in universities in Algeria, Turkey, and the United States.

Throughout his career, Dr. Rouabhi has held prestigious positions including serving as an Associate Professor at the University of Boumerdès, a Contracted Associate Professor at the School for International Training (SIT) in Vermont, and a Visiting Scientist at The Scientific & Technological Research Council of Turkey, TUBITAK. He is also the Founder and Deputy Director of the Researchers for Peace and Development (REPAD) Center in the UK.

Dr. Rouabhi has also made significant contributions as a consultant, providing expert insights for various international organizations. His consultancy work includes designing a special training package for The Libyan Center for Security and Military Studies and delivering a series of training courses for UN Women and Midmar Association.

He is a prolific writer with numerous publications to his name, including articles, books, and research papers on the critical issues of human rights, legal reform, international conflicts, and security strategies. He has also provided extensive training activities to young professionals in the field of international humanitarian and human rights law.

Educated at the University of Oran and the National School of Administration in Algiers, Dr. Rouabhi holds a doctorate in International Law. He has been affiliated with numerous professional organizations and has earned several certifications throughout his career. Fluent in Arabic, English, French, and Turkish, he is an asset in global conversations around law, human rights, and security.
