Dr. Ali Salem Ashor

Issues of the Mediterranean and Maghreb societies, the importance and role of the media in freedom of the press, human rights, extremism, terrorism, illegal immigration, drugs, gender issues, and others

Dr. Ali holds a Ph.D. in Media Communication Sciences from Hassan II University in Casablanca, Morocco. Currently works as Assistant Professor of Media, at Asmarya Islamic University, Zliten in Libya.
Also, he holds the position of Director General of the Media Support Fund affiliated to the Council of Ministers of the Government of National Unity.

His research interests include: Issues of the Mediterranean and Maghreb societies, the importance and role of the media in a number of topics such as freedom of the press, human rights, extremism, terrorism, illegal immigration, drugs, gender issues, and others.
