Dr. Alexander Dawoody

Alexander Dawoody, Ph.D. is a Full Professor and Director of the PhD in Strategic Leadership and Administrative Studies & the MPA programs at Marywood University, USA. He is a three-time Fulbright Scholar, the Founding President of the Association for Middle Eastern Public Policy and Administration (AMEPPA), and the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Applied Professional Studies and the Journal of Middle Eastern Review of Public Administration.

 

His research is in the areas of complexity and systems, Middle Eastern studies, foreign policy and national security, public policy analysis, education, and political philosophy. His works have been presented at various regional, national, and international conferences and published in various books and peer-reviewed journals. He is fluent in English, Arabic, Kurdish, Turkish, and Farsi and converses also in Spanish.
